Dear Families,

My name is Dr. Carla Taugher Aranda and I have the honor of being the principal of Pablo Tac School of the Arts. I have been an educator for over 30 years.  I began my career as a bilingual teacher in Los Angeles many years ago. Since then, I have taught in Chula Vista, led a whole systems change initiative as a director of the Ball Foundation, and served as an elementary school principal in Lemon Grove for 7 years prior to coming to Oceanside Unified School District. Working with children is a joy and my life’s vocation.  Our children have limitless potential, and it is a privilege to accompany them on their educational journey.

My goal is to nurture a dynamic school community in which all students feel safe, learn, and reach their fullest potential.  I welcome the opportunity to work with families as partners so that our students have the support they need to grow.  Staff at Pablo Tac are committed to serving the needs of students as well.  Together, we can do anything!
